Patience and Tenacity.

Three Thirty Three Arts was contacted by Lamorinda resident Lara Dutto to collaborate and bring Lafayette it's first public mural, and one that felt welcoming to all cultures and colors. Three Thirty Three Arts designed the concept that was first and foremost a beautiful and inviting work of art, but one that a diverse population of people would appreciate. We titled it "Unity In Diversity" and it is located in the parking lot of Mt. Diablo Blvd and Oak Hill Road.

When the project was funded (major funding by Diamond Construction, Village Associates and First Republic Bank, as well as generous citizens contributing the rest via a GoFundMe campaign) 333 Arts orchestrated the process to lead a dozen teens and young adults in painting the mural into life. *The artists we utilized for this project were Denis Dukhvalov and Callan Porter-Romero. We also had a seasoned professional artist we regularly work with by the name of Pancho Pescador greatly help with some vital elements such as the outline and highlighting the mural.

The process took over a year to bring to life, and was led by Mrs. Dutto's vision and tenacity to gain approval from the City of Lafayette as well as fund the entire effort.
